1 Sirak, Ron Greg Norman
Philadelphia Chelsea House Publications 1998 0791045617 / 9780791045619 First Edition; First Printing Hardcover Near Fine with no dust jacket
Excellent condition, with minimal shelf wear. Pages clean, white and crisp. ; Golf Legends; Library Binding; 0.38 x 9.58 x 7.51; 64 pages; Greg Norman, one of the best golfers of his generation, will probably be best remembered for some of the matches he lost rather than for those that he won. Even though Norman has won more money than any other golfer, his penchant for turning huge leads into narrow losses has made him seem the unluckiest golfer of all time, the greatest golfer who comes in second. The most memorable upset involving the "Great White Shark" happened at the 1996 Masters. Although he went into the final day with a six-stroke lead and, at the time, no one had ever lost a lead that big at any of the four major championships, Norman stumbled and lost to a streaking Nick Faldo. In spite of his heartbreaking losses, his championship attitude, total effort, and dignity in defeat are recognized by his fans as among his great triumphs.
